Nick CookNick is the first Director of the newly created Innovation division at the FCA. Nick is accountable for leading the FCA’s RegTech initiatives, its data and analytics strategy, machine learning endeavours, and Innovate activities (including regulatory sandbox, Global Financial Innovation Network, Green FinTech challenge, and direct support).
Nick represents the FCA on the European Securities and Markets Authority’s (ESMA) Financial Innovation Standing Committee and is an advisor to the RegTech for Regulators Accelerator Programme (R2A). Nick joined the Financial Services Authority (the FCA’s predecessor) in 2009, initially in its Enforcement and Market Oversight Division. Prior to joining the regulator, Nick qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG Forensic.

Adam TomsAdam is CEO of OpenFin Europe and also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of RSRCHXchange. In his role at OpenFin, Adam is focused on driving industry-wide adoption of OpenFin’s vendor-neutral platform, which enables rapid, secure innovation for all market participants.
Prior to OpenFin, Adam served as CEO of Instinet Europe. Under his leadership, the firm ranked #1 for customer volume on the London Stock Exchange, #3 for Pan-European equity customer volume, achieving record market share and profitability.

Noa GranotNoa is the head of the Banking Supervision Unit at the Bank of Israel IT Department, leading all IT aspects of Open Banking.
Noa has played a major part in the design of the overall solution, while adapting international standards to meet Israeli market requirements.
In addition to the Open Banking Project, Noa has lead various technology and operations projects at the Bank of Israel.
She has a degree in computer Science and a Masters in Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Dr Luca MarighettiLuca has nearly 30 years of professional experience across a wide variety of industries, in geopolitical matters and in tech. He held a number of roles first in academia, Procter & Gamble (European Brand Manager) and SC Johnson (Commercial Director, Central Europe), McKinsey & Company (Assembly, R&D, Chemicals, Banking), Deutsche Bank (on-line trading, investment products), Allianz Group (market management across banking), Zurich Insurance (strategy and tech), and now Swiss Re where he developed the tech strategy for the Group and he now leading its implementation.
Luca studied Medieval Literature (with Hans Robert Jauss), History (with Arno Borst), Sociology (with Thomas Luckmann), Philosophy (with Jürgen Mittelstrass), and with masters in the first two disciplines at the University of Constance. There he also earned a PhD in Philosophy of science, with a thesis on the epistemic contribution delivered by the extension of the thinkable (“possible worlds” and “language”) as performed in the literary space, and mentored by the same academic teachers. Luca attended Scientific High School in Italy and Germany.

Aritra ChakravartyProject Imagine was founded by Aritra Chakravarty, who previously spent 13 years at HSBC across M&A, strategy, private banking and digital wealth management. Armed with $15m seed funding, Aritra and an unusually diverse team (Dozens is 60%+ women and 50%+ non-financial background) are looking to define the second generation of challengers.
Project Imagine aims to bring true innovation in financial services with two brands - consumer app Dozens, and Pi1, the digital banking and wealth platform that runs Dozens. It is the first and only UK start-up to be licensed both as an e money institution and an investment firm, offering current accounts as well as investment products to UK customers through Dozens.
Dozens looks to align shareholder interests with the customer’s financial well-being by building a business that does not monetise on its customers’ debt, but instead looks to make saving and investing easier and more rewarding with its proprietary financial products. Launched on app stores in January 2019, Dozens now has over 27,500 customers and has processed over £70m on platform Pi1.
Pi1 has a modular offering including the Dozens front end, data stack, balance and orchestration layer. The platform is available globally to banks looking to innovate, as well as new fintechs setting up from scratch.
Shlomi OrgadShlomi leads the Fintech vertical at Facebook Israel. He and his team work closely with Israeli fintech start-ups and growth companies, guiding on their growth strategy and execution, to help them reach more customers. Focus areas include insurtech, payments, lending and trading.
Before joining Facebook, Shlomi was an entrepreneur in the online marketing space. His previous experience also includes business development, strategy and project management - across a variety of industries.

Shaul DavidShaul is New Business and Partnerships lead at Railsbank. His remit is to expand the company's reach beyond fintech into other verticals that can benefit from embedding banking services into their customer value proposition.
Shaul was the UK Government's very first fintech adviser, working with governments, financial institutions, industry bodies and start-ups to accelerate innovation across industry verticals. At the Department for International Trade, he helped establish the UK’s fintech ecosystem, under the government of former Prime Minister David Cameron, cementing the UK as a major global leader in the fintech space.
Josh BellJosh is a General Partner at Dawn and leads our fintech investments working with portfolio companies iZettle, Divido, Property Partner, Sonovate, Zumper, Obillex and Fanduel.
Before joining Dawn in 2007, Josh was at McKinsey & Company, managing teams that advised boards of Fortune global 500 financial institutions based in London, Geneva, Amsterdam and New York. While at McKinsey, he was recognised in the firm as a leading financial services expert in Europe. Within his retail and wholesale banking work, he devoted significant time to informing clients on the impact of new technologies on their industries, and helping to assess and implement these technologies for their businesses.
In addition to his private sector client work, Josh was also integral to supporting McKinsey’s relationship with the World Economic Forum, leading McKinsey support for the WEF’s financial services knowledge initiatives and activities, principally for the Davos conferences in 2006 and 2007.
Josh is a Graduate Scholar at Oxford University in Mathematics. He was subsequently a Research Fellow at Harvard University, in Economics and Game Theory, publishing papers in Game Theory and IT security journals before studying operational research and advanced financial modelling at Cambridge University, as part of an MPhil in Statistics; his MPhil research was supported by the Rand Institute of Santa Monica, California.

Before he co-founded Identiq to create the solution he’d been dreaming of for years, he was the Head of Analytics and Research at PayPal’s risk department. He has tremendous experience building cross-functional teams which use the latest technological developments to create innovative products that both reduce loss and improve customer experience.

Bar IsraeliBar is the ISV Partnership Manager for Salesforce, managing two territories in the Salesforce ISV Partner ecosystems: Israel and Emerging Markets, which includes: CEE, Russia, Czech Republic, Spain, South Africa.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining an ecosystem of Enterprise Cloud App providers, assisting salesforce ISV partners build new companies, business lines and products, and helping partners generate leads and convert into revenue streams.

Yaron ShilatYaron is the Head of Public Policy for Amazon and AWS in Israel.
Prior to this, Yaron was part of the founding team of LATTO, a streaming company, as VP Content and later as VP Sales & Partnerships for 7 years. In this role Yaron managed to successfully pivot the company from a B2C streaming company into a B2B technology vendor by onboarding its first Tier 1 Telco customer PLDT and later PCCW out of Hong Kong. PCCW has also become a prime investor in the company. Before joining LATTO, Yaron was the head of Sales and Marketing for Tikshoov, the largest contact center provider in Israel with 6,000+ employees across the country.
Yaron comes from a Public Policy background, serving 4 years under Minister Shaul Mofaz, as a senior aide for legislation and aviation, and 5 years as Lobbyist for large organizations including CPA Chambers, Teva Pharmaceuticals, the Jewish Agency and the Head of Universities Forum.

CrowdSense’s proprietary NLP-based algorithms empower customers to filter through millions of feeds every minute and detect geo-political, economic, accidental, or other breaking events up hours before they reach the news and before they affect capital markets.
CrowdSense also allows customers to react fast to market changes by searching for real-time information for unreported events that may have already moved asset prices. For example, in September 2019, we detected the missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities 30 minutes before Bloomberg and Reuters, and before the 20% spike in oil prices, the largest one in the past 30 years.
CrowdSense is currently raising funds and working closely with trial customers both in Israel and the UK to help them improve their alpha release into a launchable product.

Daniel PeledDaniel has over 15 years of sales management and business development expertise from a variety of enterprise software and hardware companies. He has an extensive history of building and leading successful businesses and teams. As the EVP of Sales at Mango DSP, he managed global sales and was part of the management team that led the company to acquisition and an M&A. Later, he joined FST Biometrics as VP Sales, building its US and Global Sales team.
Most recently, Daniel was Head of Business Development and Sales at Webyclip where he focused his efforts on large eCommerce players such as eBay, Tokopedia, Lazada, and others. Meital RavivMeital is a Director at the KPMG Centre of Excellence in Israel. Prior to joining KPMG, she was the head of digital and innovation at Bank Leumi, one of the leading digital brands in Israel and a leader in digital strategy and the implementation of new digital products.

Shalom BubilShalom is Chief Risk Officer at Kovrr and a cyber data science expert. Throughout his career, Shalom has acquired unique expertise in cyber intelligence, threat modeling, risk modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Shalom joined an elite Israeli intelligence unit and served for four years specializing in cyber.
Following his military service, he joined Lacoon Mobile Security where he led the threat intelligence and threat modeling initiatives. In his last position before founding Kovrr, he led cyber threat intelligence and modeling efforts at Deep Instinct, developing a commercial detection engine product from scratch based on advanced artificial intelligence technology.

Dorel BlitzDorel brings over 10 years of experience in global business strategy and business development in the financial services industry. He joined Personetics from KPMG, where he headed the Fintech sector at KPMG Israel and a member of the global fintech practice and financial services advisory. In his role, Dorel was instrumental in establishing KPMG’s collaborative relationships with global financial institutions and leading fintech companies including Personetics. He also acted as a subject matter expert and led advisory projects involving digital transformation strategies with financial services organizations.
Prior to joining KPMG, Dorel led the Innovation and fintech practice at Bank Leumi, and earlier in his career, he headed the banking and finance division at global research firm Adkit.
