Co-founder & CEO
Eliaz TobiasEli is CEO & Co-Founder of CrowdSense, the artificial intelligence and alternative data fintech start-up currently incubated in the Barclays Techstars accelerator, that delivers a real-time intelligence agency platform for market moving events, to empower financial analysts and traders to avoid capital loss and generate alpha. CrowdSense’s proprietary NLP-based algorithms empower customers to filter through millions of feeds every minute and detect geo-political, economic, accidental, or other breaking events up hours before they reach the news and before they affect capital markets. CrowdSense also allows customers to react fast to market changes by searching for real-time information for unreported events that may have already moved asset prices. For example, in September 2019, CrowdSense detected the missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, 30 minutes before Bloomberg & Reuters and before the 20% spike in oil prices, the largest one in the past 30 years. Another example is the detection of the Italian prime minister’s resignation, 2 hours before the 11% drop in Italy’s sovereign bond prices. These days, CrowdSense is both fundraising as well as working closely with trial customers in Israel and the UK who are testing their alpha and help them improve their alpha release into a launchable product.
